About the Park

The county's most popular swimming beach - be prepared for crowds on hot summer weekends. Other summer activities include fishing, hiking, picnicking, volleyball (net provided, balls are available upon request when staff are on duty), softball, horseshoes (horseshoes not provided) and playground. In the winter, Fish Lake County Park is popular for ice fishing and the trail is open for cross-country skiing. There is a boat access at the park. Modern restrooms are open during summer park hours, along with a changing area. Portable restrooms are also available during the summer season. Vehicle Parking Fee

There is a $3 per vehicle parking fee charged Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. There is NO charge for parking, Monday through Thursday, year round.

152 acres on the east shore of Fish Lake. 1-1/2 miles west of Harris exit 152, head west on Stark Road, then south on Elmcrest Avenue.

Picnic Shelter Reservations

To reserve a park shelter at Fish Lake County Park select Shelter #1 = South - nearest playground OR Shelter #2 = Lake. Each shelter should seat approximately 75. Both shelters have electricity and are handicapped accessible. Modern restroom facilities are available and are open from noon until 10:00 p.m. These shelters are reserved on a first come first serve basis.
