IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT COVID-19 (coronavirus):
A Statewide emergency executive order has been issued, effective Monday, March 16, 2020, for all Minnesota Courts. The order establishes temporary procedures for district court cases due to the COVID-19 peacetime emergency. Court facilities will remain open. The court will continue to take filings, however the public is being discouraged from making any non-essential visits to the court facilities at this time. High priority cases will be held, as scheduled, but some medium or low priority cases may be suspended or continued for a period of time. Courts have begun communicating these measures to the parties. The priorities for the cases are defined by the Court Services Case Priorities List.
The County Attorney’s Office supports prudent and temporary measures to balance public safety and the safety of employees as our State copes with COVID-19.
Thank you.
