[ARCHIVED] Accepting Applications for the 2021 Citizen's Academy

Citizens Academy Badge

2021 Chisago County Citizen's Academy Program

Law enforcement is one of the most highly visible yet least understood professions that exists. Every day there are news stories, news coverage, and social media posts reporting, evaluating or critiquing the men and women that make up that thin blue line. The Chisago County Citizen’s Academy aims to give you an inside look into what goes on behind the badge.

Over the course of 8 weeks, September 27, 2021 thru November 15, 2021, we will meet on Mondays evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will give presentations, demonstrations and provide you with a hands-on opportunity to see what being a cop is like. From patrol to investigations to SWAT to K-9 you’ll get a front row seat to what we do.

This is also an opportunity for us to get to know those who live and work in our community and establish that deeper relationship with you. We hope to have you a part of this program!

APPLY TODAY for the 2021 Chisago County Citizen's Academy.  Applications will be accepted through Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Check out the Citizen's Academy Page on our website for more information.
